At Ziva, we believe that your privacy is as precious as your memories. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting your personal data and explains how we handle information within the Ziva mobile application.

1. The "Local-First" Principle

Ziva is designed with a core "Local-First" philosophy. Unlike many other photo editors, Ziva does not use cloud-based processing for its core features. This means:

On-Device Processing: All AI Art Style Transfer, Filters, and Adjustments are executed locally on your device's hardware.
No Photo Uploads: Your photos and videos never leave your device for the purpose of editing. We do not have servers that store your personal media.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Because we prioritize your privacy, we do not collect or store the following:

Personal Identifiable Information (PII) like your name, email address, or phone number.
The contents of your photo library or any metadata associated with your images.
Facial recognition data or biometric information.

3. Third-Party Services

Ziva may use minimal third-party services to improve app stability and performance:

Crash Reporting & Analytics: We may use tools like Firebase Crashlytics to receive anonymous technical logs to fix bugs. These do not contain personal information.
Google Play Services: For app delivery, licensing verification, and optional AR features provided by ARCore.

4. Data Security

Since your data stays on your device, its security is tied to your device's security. We recommend using standard mobile security features (Passcode, FaceID, TouchID) to protect your device and the Ziva app.

5. Your Rights

As we do not store your personal data on our servers, you have full control. Deleting the app will remove any locally stored caches or temporary files generated by the app. If you have any questions regarding your privacy, you can contact us through our website.
